Being '75%' Scottish myself I would always prefer to fly the Flag of St Andrew at any or all occasions in preference to the Flag of St George (who was a Christian who I think died in battle in 'Asia Minor' - modern day Turkey - and who had never been to England or even Britain in his life) but have any Triumph motorcycles, or anything else with the Triumph brand ever been made in Scotland? (either before or since John Bloor took over the company?). I know what you mean by 'typical' in reference to English attitudes, but in this case I think you may be wrong - but I am willing to stand corrected if you are right.
